HOW TO MEASURE
For the most accurate results, take your measurements wearing minimal clothing and standing in a relaxed position.
CHEST / BUST
Measure around the fullest part of your chest, keeping the tape measure horizontal and under your arms.
WAIST
Measure around your natural waistline, at the narrowest part of your torso (typically just above the navel).
HIPS
Measure around the fullest part of your hips, keeping the tape measure horizontal around your body.
INSEAM
Measure from the crotch to where you want the bottom of the pants to sit (ankle or preferred length).
SHOULDERS
Measure from the edge of one shoulder across to the other edge, across the broadest part of your shoulders.

SIZING FAQs
Common questions about finding your perfect fit with Apex Gym Clothing products.
For compression and athletic fit garments, we generally recommend sizing up if you're between sizes for more comfort. For relaxed fit items, your true size or even sizing down will work well. If you're purchasing for a specific activity (like weightlifting or running), consider how you want the garment to perform during that activity.
All Apex products are pre-shrunk during manufacturing, so you should experience minimal shrinkage when following the care instructions on the garment label. We recommend washing in cold water and air drying or tumble drying on low heat to maintain the shape, fit, and technical properties of your Apex gear.
For the most accurate measurements:
- Use a soft measuring tape
- Wear minimal, form-fitting clothing
- Stand in a relaxed posture, breathing normally
- Have someone help you if possible
- Keep the measuring tape snug but not tight against your body
- Measure twice to ensure accuracy

Compression wear should fit snugly against your skin without restricting movement or breathing. It should feel tight but not uncomfortable. You should be able to fit two fingers under the fabric, but it shouldn't be loose or bunch up. If you're experiencing pinching, numbness, or difficulty moving, the item is too small. If it's wrinkling or not staying in place, it's too large.
If your Apex product doesn't fit as expected, we offer a simple exchange process. Unworn items with original tags attached can be returned within 30 days for a different size.
